INSTRUCTOR AND CONSULTANT
Mary Whyte-Marshall is a Healthcare Instructor and Consultant with expertise in designing science-driven curriculum to foster optimal sleep, physical health, well-being and prevention of stress-related diseases for 9-1-1 professionals.
Mary is a recently retired registered nurse with 45 years of clinical nursing experience who loves to share her passion for health and wellness with others. Most of Mary’s career has been in the education role at a large corporation with 14 hospitals, as well as being an educator for various local universities. She was frequently sought after by her education peers for her clinical expertise and evidence-based practices. She also has expertise and a track record of success in helping mitigate test anxiety for nursing students who were unsuccessful in passing their state nursing board exams.
Mary now brings her career-long passion and expertise to support our nation’s 9-1-1 professionals. She currently serves on the National Emergency Number Association Workgroup on Acute/Traumatic and Chronic Stress Management as a subject matter expert preparing guidance on dispatcher sleep optimization.
Mary holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, both from Saginaw Valley State University, and a certification in nursing for professional development from the American Nursing Credentialing Center.
