Mike Tackett is a Resilience and Call Mastery Instructor and Consultant with expertise in crisis management and leadership.

Mike has 33 years of law enforcement experience in dispatch and field operations. He has worked in roles as a dispatcher, dispatch supervisor, police officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Investigations Commander, and Chief of Police.   

Mike has worked in the crisis management field for over 25 years. He is currently a graduate student of Clinical Psychology at Madonna University.  Mike's specialty is treating first-responders and he is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  Mike also holds an MBA from Madonna University and is a graduate of Northwestern Police Staff and Command. 

Mike is very passionate for the emergency communications dispatch community. His passion began with his mother, who is a 30-year dispatch retiree, and continued with his wife, who has 29 years of service as an emergency dispatcher.
