Peak Performance in Managing Domestic Violence Calls

A Trauma-informed Approach

Crisis Call Mastery

Peak Performance in Managing Domestic Violence Calls

Throughout the U.S. and beyond, emergency dispatchers strive to do their best with callers reporting domestic violence. But, the training they receive might not be trauma-informed. In this course, we explore the complex psychological terrain of domestic violence to give 9-1-1 professionals better insight and the ability to relate to callers. We provide dispatchers with the tools they will need to connect with callers and gain critical information to help establish a safe scene for everyone involved.
